Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Engineer to join our team. As a Front End Engineer, you will have a pivotal role in designing and implementing the user interface of our web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and back end engineers, to develop high-quality software solutions.
This position is open to onsite, hybrid or remote.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain the user interface of our web applications using the latest front-end technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate wireframes and design concepts into fully functional and responsive user interfaces.
- Implement UI/UX designs while ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues and improve the overall user experience.
- Collaborate with back end engineers to integrate front-end components with the back-end infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in front-end technologies and frameworks.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to gather requirements and estimate project timelines and scope.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Front End Engineer or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies
- Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework/library such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Excellent knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality software solutions
