Role: Director of Marketing

Location: Remote US-Based

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and tactics targeting key stakeholders in the urology and uro-oncology fields to elevate disease state awareness and promote the adoption of cretostimogene grenadenrepvec.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on bladder cancer, offering deep insights into diagnosis, treatment options, and the clinical profile of cretostimogene grenadenrepvec to guide strategic decision-making and messaging.
  • Foster seamless collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure strategic alignment between marketing initiatives and overarching commercial objectives, driving cohesive and impactful campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with business operations to conduct thorough market research, gather actionable insights, and discern physician needs and preferences in the non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) space, informing the development of tailored strategies, tactics, and performance metrics for cretostimogene grenadenrepvec.
  • Develop and deploy educational resources, including materials, presentations, and programs customized for urologists and uro-oncologists, facilitating their understanding and adoption of cretostimogene grenadenrepvec.
  • Spearhead the planning and execution of medical education events, conferences, and symposiums dedicated to urologists, leveraging these platforms to amplify awareness and deepen knowledge of the product.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team, equipping them with comprehensive knowledge of product features, clinical data, and persuasive messaging techniques to effectively engage physicians.
  • Utilize robust key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact and effectiveness of marketing initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize outcomes.
  • Oversee the rigorous review and approval process (MLR) for all marketing materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintaining brand integrity.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of meetings and conference exhibits, meticulously managing materials and resources to maximize visibility and engagement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, marketing, business)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing, with a focus on physician-facing roles and oncology preferred.
  • Strong marketing background with an ability to understand bladder cancer diagnosis, treatment modalities, and clinical data.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns targeting physicians.
  • Urology, oncology disease state experience in biotech, genomics, device, or pharma
  • Ability to prepare PPT and support documentation for senior level audiences.
  • Proven track record in managing budgets and maintaining excel reporting on spend, budgets and forecasts.

The U.S. target annual salary range for this remote, full-time, position is currently set at $220,000 - $235,000 The actual base salary offered for this role will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, market factors, experience and considering internal equity. In addition, to the base salary, CG Oncology offers a very attractive set of Total Rewards (including bonus and equity) and Well-Being Benefits provided as part of the overall compensation package for this role.
