Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join Cobo Group, a world leading provider of digital asset custody services. The ideal candidate will have strong connections within the Venture Capital (VC) and Private Equity (PE) sectors, and a proven track record of driving business growth in the digital asset or financial services industry.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand our client base and increase market share within the digital asset custody industry.
  • Leverage existing relationships and build new connections within the VC and ecosystem foundations to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align business development efforts with company goals.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships that enhance our service offerings and market position.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our brand and establish thought leadership.
  • Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients and partners, effectively communicating our value proposition.
  • Track and report on business development activities, results, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the digital asset, financial services, or technology industry.
  • Strong network and established relationships within the VC and PE sectors.
  • Deep understanding of digital assets, blockchain technology, and the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies and achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
