Job Introduction:

Cobo is seeking an experienced, motivated, and proactive candidate to join us as a Sales Director focusing on expanding our custody and wallet solutions business. We are looking for someone to turbo charge our sales efforts into institutions including exchanges, brokers, payments, trading firms, asset managers, and more. You will be someone with a network in the crypto ecosystem who can build relationships and partnerships with people. You will own and execute a winning sales strategy, and work closely with other functional teams including marketing, product, operations, etc. You must be a high energy, entrepreneurial, driven individual that has a strong understanding of the broader crypto economy and the major segments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute a sales and business development strategy to expand our digital asset custody and wallet business.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets, leveraging both inbound and outbound sales techniques.
  • Identify, source and close new institutional accounts as well as cross-sell and upsell to existing clients.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales life cycle: preparing presentations, product demos, proposals, agreement negotiation, and coordinating with other internal departments to successfully onboard clients.
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales executives, providing guidance and support to help them achieve individual and team targets.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with product development and marketing strategies.
  • Establish channel partnerships to build a strong pipeline of client referrals.
  • Represent Cobo in conferences and industry events to support the company’s branding and marketing activities.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in institutional or enterprise software sales, business development, or account management roles in digital assets, blockchain, financial services or fintech industry in the Asian region.
  • Proven track record in closing deals, achieving or exceeding sales targets, and building valuable partnerships.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong understanding of the crypto industry, including digital assets, blockchain technology, and the regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Entrepreneurial, results-driven, with a hunter attitude.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
