Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all legal matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, managing risks and supporting the business objectives
- Provide precise and timely legal advice on on-going commercial issues, contracts, product development and management, governance and corporate matters
- Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial contracts, legal documents to support existing business activities and launch of new products and partnerships to mitigate and reduce risk exposure
- Review and develop contracts and standard T&Cs templates
- Identify and assess legal risk and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments in the crypto and web3 space, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations across jurisdictions
- Lead and conduct training sessions to business on legal and regulatory matters
Job Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer ideally with at least 5 years of PQE in an in-house role, preferably in relevant industry
- Graduated with a law degree from a major common law jurisdiction (SG/HK/UK)
- Prior exposure in Blockchain / Crypto / SaaS products and regulations are highly preferred
- Proven experience in managing multiple high-priority projects and driving complex initiatives to fruition
- Strong desire to stay updated with recent technology developments and a quick learning aptitude
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels within the organization
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen sense of legal and business judgement
