Job Title: Customer Sales Support (CSS)
Reports To: Territory Manager
Location: Milan site Bio-Techne, Milano Via Ranzato 12
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.45 pm
Position Summary:
This position will hold responsibility for nurturing and supporting existing business throughout The region for the Bio-Techne Portfolio, managed from the Southern European office in Milan. In this position you will be expected to maintain an extremely high level of customer and market knowledge.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and Nurture Existing Business:
Ensure existing Academic/Industry customer base throughout the Southern Europe is supported by understanding their current research and how the Bio-Techne portfolio sits within this.
Data entry and sales orders and quotes processing
Use a selection of channels to support and develop new/existing business opportunities, including live in bound enquiries via the website, outbound cold calls, in bound/out bound emails and social media.
Keep all channels of communication open with internal and external sales teams in Southern Europe, lead generation and marketing to ensure a cohesive team for maximum customer support.
Work closely with Customer service, Technical and Account Managers to execute bespoke projects to drive revenue.
Work closely with Account Management team to ensure customer needs are met in terms of product information, quoting and technical support.
Act in a commercially savvy way to unlock new business opportunities through existing customers as well as live interactive web chats.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
High school diploma
Fluent in Spanish and fluent English highly appreciated
Demonstrable experience of working within a customer care/sales environment with a strong commercial focus.
Experience of using own initiative and working in a target driven environment.
Possess good IT skills; including experience of working with databases, Office Outlook, using Excel and Word are essential.
