Automated RNAscope COMET workflow with multiomic capability, is enabling clients to easily narrow targets, and to scale across multiple samples. RNAscope in situ hybridization technologies and COMET workflows provide complementary spatial genomic and proteomic information to NGS, Single Cell sequencing, qPCR, and ddPCR techniques.

Position Description

The employee’s primary responsibility is to sell and consult for the adoption of RNAscope and related hybridization techniques (ISH) for manual application and on automation platforms like COMET from Lunaphore, BOND RX from LEICA or Ventana from ROCHE. Business Development for strategic focus areas in the DACH region will be part of the job description. Either for Academia or Bioharma, and Biotech accounts. You will engage with existing customers and new customers. Prospecting for new clients and applications in your designated accounts will be key for success.

Lab experience on in-situ hybridization technologies and imaging experience on named platforms, or microscopes or similar workflows will help you to be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell RNAscope and related ISH technologies from Bio-Techne and Lunaphore
  • Drive customer adoption across manual workflows and automated systems.
  • Consult with and support researchers and scientists to identify relevant applications and use cases.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Partner closely with local Account Executives to support territory growth and revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support customers through internal and 3rd-party research service options.
  • Leverage customer feedback and market data to refine business development approaches.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and commit to ongoing commercial training.
  • Travel up to 50% to visit customers, attend conferences, and support product demonstrations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Life Sciences (e.g., Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related field).
  • Hands-on experience with in situ hybridization (ISH) and/or fluorescent imaging workflows.
  • Familiarity with automated platforms (e.g., COMET, BOND RX, Ventana) or similar imaging systems.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Based in Germany, with ability and willingness to travel regularly.
  • Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for scientific consulting.
  • Willing to learn and apply commercial tools such as CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in life science sales or business development is a plus.
  • Experience with spatial transcriptomics or transcriptomic imaging instruments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with multiomics applications and emerging trends in spatial biology.
