Pay Range:

$139,600.00 - $229,450.00

Job Purpose

The Biopharma Sales Manager will drive growth and market leadership for ACD’s innovative molecular pathology and tissue-based diagnostic solutions within the biopharma segment. Leveraging the RNAscope® technology platform and Professional Assay Services, this role is responsible for achieving revenue goals, building and leading a high-performing sales team, and developing strategies that strengthen ACD’s position as a trusted partner in advancing personalized medicine. The Biopharma Sales Manager will foster strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure exceptional customer experiences while collaborating closely with internal partners to address evolving biopharma needs. By embodying Bio-Techne’s EPIC values, this role will play a key part in bridging research and clinical applications, enabling biopharma customers to accelerate innovation in companion diagnostics and drug development.

This is a remote position based in the US. Access to a major airport is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve regional revenue and growth objectives.
  • Drive strategic sales initiatives that expand market presence and foster new customer acquisition.
  • Provide clear business direction, forecasting, and performance insights to support decision-making and resource planning.
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to align business goals and enhance customer outcomes.
  • Represent the organization with biopharma customers, delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Identify emerging opportunities, market trends, and competitive dynamics to guide business strategy.
  • Champion company values and serve as a role model for ethical, customer-focused leadership.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

Skills:

  • · Demonstrated on-the-job success in sales leadership and business development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, forecast outcomes, and provide clear business insights.
  • Preferred experience with scientific, technical, or life sciences products and services.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of sales and sales management experience, industry specific experience and ideally in biopharma sales.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve business goals.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving market needs.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, resilient, and committed to delivering an excellent customer experience.
