$139,600.00 - $229,450.00

The Spatial Biology Division of Bio-Techne provides a wide range of solutions, including instruments, RNA detection chemistries, antibody panels and other reagents for spatial biology.

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Global Head of Product Marketing to lead the Product Marketing team at the Bio-Techne Spatial Biology Division, which includes ACD (Advanced Cell Diagnostics) and Lunaphore.

This role will report to the Senior Director, Product Strategy and Marketing, Spatial Biology and be responsible for managing the strategy and tactics to increase visibility, reputation and sales across the product portfolio, setting targets, and ensuring the execution of the Annual Marketing Plan.

Main responsibilities

  • Define the strategy and activities of the Product Marketing team, including its budget, activities, timelines and results. Define and ensure execution of the Annual Marketing Strategy and Tactical Plan.

  • Manage a team composed by Product and Applications Marketing and Channel Marketing team members, located at Newark, California and Tolochenaz Switzerland.

  • Support the Commercial Team and the Sales funnel by establishing opportunity generation targets and other KPIs to feed the sales pipeline, by generating high quality leads across a multi-channel strategy, and developing effective nurturing and qualification funnels.

  • Lead, supervise and review the Product Marketing activities, including the creation of collateral needed for product promotion and educational activities, including product brochures, sales decks, website pages, among others, as well as the planning and execution of promotional campaigns. Regularly monitor Commercial activities and ensure swift response to the needs and requests of the Commercial Team to ultimately increase sales effectiveness.

  • Lead, supervise and review the Applications Marketing activities to effectively prioritize, request, forecast and disseminate data, generated both internally and externally, to support Marketing efforts and increase scientific reputation and market penetration in different research fields. Ensure the development of scientific marketing collateral such as scientific presentations and posters for events, as well as publications libraries, collateral and tools to support the Commercial Team efforts.

  • Lead, supervise and review Channel Marketing activities, including website and e-commerce, social media, digital marketing, advertising, lead gen and qualification systems architecture and integration, as well as regular tracking, reporting and optimization of all Marketing activities across the business.

  • Ensure effectiveness and compliance with the highest standards of customer-facing communication across the organization, including consistency in product branding and positioning and messaging for optimal product differentiation from the competition, by providing guidance, trainings and resource sharing tools to internal teams and external partners.

  • Build processes and communication channels across different teams of the Spatial Biology Division and other Bio-Techne organizations to ensure strategic alignment, content quality control, coordination and visibility of Marketing efforts.

  • This position will be located in the United States. It can be remote, or at the Newark, CA office. East Coast candidates or candidates with time flexibility are encouraged to apply for timezone reasons.

Required qualifications

  • Master degree in Life Sciences or related field, or Degree in Marketing with an excellent level of scientific understanding.

  • At least 10 years of experience in a Life Sciences Marketing role, working with both high-capex products in emerging fields as well as consumable products.

  • A good understanding of ISH, IHC/IF, spatial biology, single-cell or histopathology applications in research markets. Understanding of the diagnostic market is a plus.

  • Thorough experience launching and selling products in the academic, biopharma and CRO market segments.

  • At least 5 years of personnel management experience in an equivalent role, having managed mid-sized teams (5-10 people).

  • Fluent in English, oral and written.
