Pay Range:

$133,300.00 - $219,100.00

The Business Intelligence Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing BI strategy. As a Business Intelligence (BI) leader, oversee data-driven decision-making processes within the organization, managing teams of analysts and BI builders to bridge the gap between technical and business aspects of data analysis. The role is responsible for aligning BI initiatives with overall business goals, creating roadmaps for data analytics projects, and establishing data governance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy to support the organization's business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track and measure performance against these metrics.
  • Facilitate a community of cross-functional analytics leaders to align on common strategies, tools, training and priorities, consolidating tools, reports and dashboards wherever possible.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis, helping them make informed decisions and drive business growth.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in analytics tools and technologies and evaluate their potential to improve our data analysis capabilities.
  • Drive data governance initiatives by establishing data quality standards, ensuring data accuracy, and implementing data security measures.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data infrastructure, systems, and tools are optimized to support efficient data collection, storage, and analysis.
  • Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and visualizations.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision making within the organization, promoting the use of analytics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Lead and manage a team of data analysts across functional domains , providing guidance, direction, and support in their day-to-day activities.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including internal systems, third-party tools, and market research, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.

Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and visualization tools, such as SQL, Power BI, Excel, Tableau or similar tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and data manipulation.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect data insights to business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in analytics or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing analytics strategies in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and tools.
  • Experience working with large datasets and using statistical analysis techniques.
  • Certification in relevant analytics tools or methodologies is a plus.
