Pay Range:
$21.80 - $26.40This position is eligible to receive a target annual cash bonus based on individual and company performance, in accordance with company policy. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
Position Summary:
This person will be responsible for QC testing in the Reagent and Consumables Manufacturing group at ProteinSimple. Their primary responsibility will be working with QC and Production groups to schedule and test Maurice consumables in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Run QC assays for reagent and consumables
Precise and meticulous observation and recording of all details of QC assay (i.e.lot numbers, expiration dates, acceptance criteria etc)
Perform regular maintenance of testing equipment
Keep a clean and organized work space
Maintain inventory of reagents and consumables needed to perform QC assays
Process assay results and perform basic statistical analysis
Generate cartridge Certificate of Analysis
Afternoon (Swing) Shift: 3:30pm – 12:00am
Physical Requirements:
Daily pipetting and computer work
Occasionally lift and/or move objects of 10-25 lbs
Frequently required to move throughout the laboratory
QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years experience in Manufacturing
Fundamental laboratory skills and terminology
Experience with working with large data sets in MS Excel
Experience with LIMS, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and quality
Understanding of basic statistical principles
Able to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
BS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline preferred
